
Samsung appears to be expanding its rugged tablet lineup with the new Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro. Today, we spotted this upcoming tablet on the popular Geekbench database. Here’s everything you need to know:
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro on Geekbench Database
The device appeared with the model number SM-X356B. The listing indicates that the upcoming tablet could feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. It also confirms that the device will run on an Android 15-based OS out of the box, coupled with 6GB of RAM.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the device achieved a score of 1,179 in the single-core test and 3,378 in the multi-core test. Additionally, the same model number has also been spotted on the GSMA database.
For reference, the upcoming Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro will succeed the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro, which was launched in August 2022. The previous model features a 10.1-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also comes with the mid-range Snapdragon 778G chipset and houses a single 13-megapixel camera at the back.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro is expected to launch soon, possibly alongside the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro. However, the exact release date remains unconfirmed. We expect it to be priced at around Rs 50,000. That said, since Samsung has not officially confirmed these details, take this information with caution.
