Oppo A5 5G has received certification from GCF and Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platforms. Previously, this device was spotted at the UAE’s TDRA certification last month.
Oppo has already launched the Oppo A5 5G equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset in China. However, there is a possibility that the A5 heading for the global market may pack different specs. The Oppo A5 will arrive as a successor to last year’s Oppo A3 5G, which was priced at Rs 15,999 in India. The device offered key specifications, such as a 6.67-inch LCD HD+ 120Hz display, a Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 5,100mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Here’s a look at the details about what’s known so far about the Oppo A5 5G.
Oppo A5 5G GCF, SIRIM certified
- As can be seen above, the upcoming Oppo smartphone with the CPH2735 model number has been approved by the GCF authority.
- Like the previously seen TDRA listing, the SIRIM certification reveals that the Oppo CPH2735 phone will be called the Oppo A5 5G when it hits the market.
- It is also speculated that the brand is working on a 4G phone called the Oppo A5i. It was recently spotted with model number CPH2773 on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform.
- Unfortunately, none of the recent certifications have revealed anything significant about the A5 5G and A5i.
