Honor GT Pro Geekbench listing appears, reveals Snapdragon 8 Elite, 16GB RAM

Honor is on a launch spree in China, having recently introduced the Honor Power phone with a massive 8,000mAh battery. The brand is also gearing up to launch the performance-focused Honor GT Pro on April 23, while reports suggest the Honor X60 GT could debut a day earlier, on April 22.

Recently, three Honor devices were spotted on Chinese certification platforms with model numbers DVD-AN00/AN80, AGI-AN00, and PPG-AN00. Of these, the first has already launched as the Honor Power. The second is believed to be the upcoming Honor X60 GT, and the third corresponds to the Honor GT Pro flagship. Reports have indicated that the GT Pro will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 series chipset — something now confirmed by a newly surfaced Geekbench listing.

The Honor GT Pro’s Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by the Qualcomm SM8750, which is a clear hint that it features the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The mentioned clock speeds also match the specifications of the chipset.

The GT Pro variant that has appeared on Geekbench has 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 15.

In the single-core and multi-core Geekbench 6 tests, the device scored 3,042 and 9,519 points, respectively.

Honor GT Pro specifications (rumoured)

  • According to other reports, the Honor GT Pro will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
  • The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phone will come in LPDDR5x Ultra and UFS 4.1 combinations, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
  • The device is expected to pack a 6,000mAh+ battery with 90W fast charging.
  • For photography, it may feature a 50-megapixel triple camera unit equipped with a dedicated telephoto camera.
  • It is likely to come with other features, such as 1216 dual speakers, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, and an IR blaster.
  • The GT Pro’s official renders have revealed that it will be available in black, gold, and white shades.

Apart from launching the Honor GT Pro, the brand is also expected to announce other devices, such as the Honor Tablet GT and Band 10 fitness tracker on April 23 in China. It is unclear whether these products will be released globally.
