
Reports suggest that two Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablets are set to launch in China in the first half of the year. The Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which debuted earlier this month, holds the title of the world’s first tablet to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The next in line is expected to be the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro.
Last month, an Oppo tablet with the model number OPD2409 was spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, later confirmed to be the Oppo Pad 4 Pro. Now, another tablet from the same brand, carrying the model number OPD2413, has appeared on Geekbench. This new listing also shows the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and it is believed to be the upcoming OnePlus Pad 2 Pro.
OnePlus Pad 2 Pro Geekbench

- The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro’s (OPD2413) Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by a 4.32GHz Qualcomm chip. Its source code mentions that it is equipped with the Adreno 830 GPU. These details are enough to conclude that this tablet features the Snapdragon 8 Elite
- The tablet runs on Android 15 and is equipped with 16GB of RAM.
- In terms of performance, the Pad 2 Pro scored 3091 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core test and 9638 points in the multi-core test.
- The same device was spotted with an 80W charger at China’s 3C certification last month.
OnePlus Pad 2 Pro specifications (rumoured)
- According to reports, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will have a 13.2-inch LCD panel that supports a 3.4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
- The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablet is expected to ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
- The device may pack a battery of around 10,000mAh capacity and support 80W charging.
- For photography, it may feature an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear snapper.
OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 13T, a compact flagship phone, on April 24 in China. It remains to be seen whether the Pad 2 Pro makes its debut alongside the 13T. Readers should note that the final moniker of the OnePlus tablet is not known yet. There’s a possibility that company may call it the OnePlus Pad Pro 2 instead of Pad 2 Pro!
