The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has received Bluetooth SIG certification, signaling that its launch is imminent. Devices that pass Bluetooth certification typically make their debut within a month. Given that Samsung is expected to hold its usual launch event in July this year, the Watch 8 Classic is likely to be unveiled alongside other anticipated products, including the Galaxy Watch 8 and new foldables.

To recall, last year Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra, but there was no Classic edition. While it’s unclear if there will be a direct successor to the Ultra model, the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 lineup is expected to include at least two models: the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
