New Motorola Devices Spotted on EEC: New Edge, Moto G, or Razr Series Smartphones Launching Soon?

Highlights

  • Motorola’s new smartphones have been spotted on the EEC certification website, hinting at an upcoming Edge, Razr, or Moto G series launch.
  • One of these devices also stops by the BIS listing, suggesting an India launch soon

Motorola’s upcoming smartphones have surfaced on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) certification sites, hinting at an imminent launch. While the official moniker and specifications remain unknown, the listing suggests that Motorola is gearing up to launch a slew of new phones, and one of these will also be coming to India.

What Does the EEC Listing Reveal?

The EEC certification doesn’t disclose detailed specifications, but it does indicate that a new Motorola smartphone is being readied for launch. Looking at Motorola’s recent model number trends, this device could be a part of the upcoming Motorola Edge 60 series or Moto G lineup.

  • The XT2503-4, recently seen on EEC, is speculated to be the Motorola Edge 60 Pro.
  • The XT2507-1 might be the standard Motorola Edge 60.
  • The XT2527-2 is expected to be the Moto G86 5G.
  • XT2551-6 could be part of the Motorola Razr 60 Series
  • XT2505-1 perhaps the Moto Edge 2025

Motorola Razr Series Listings on EEC

Motorola appears to be also working on multiple Razr devices, as new and existing model numbers have been spotted on EEC. The device bears the model number XT2551-6, which aligns with the earlier model numbers for this series. The XT2451-2 was associated with Motorola Razr+, while the XT2451-4 was for Moto Razr 50 Ultra. While details remain scarce, the XT2551-6 listing suggests that Motorola may introduce a next-generation Razr foldable in 2025.

Earlier today, Android Headlines shared the first leaked renders of the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, revealing subtle design changes while retaining the overall look of its predecessor. The images suggest the foldable will sport a faux leather back with visible stitching, adding a more premium touch.

The cover display remains unchanged, maintaining the large-screen approach seen in the previous model. The report also hints at the inclusion of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which could improve performance. However, other key specifications—including the 6.9-inch internal display, 4-inch cover screen, dual 50MP rear cameras, and 4,000mAh battery—appear to be carried over from the last generation.

Moto Edge 2025 and Edge 60 Listings on EEC

Motorola is also preparing for its Edge lineup refresh, and two new devices have been spotted on EEC. While we don’t have any specifics regarding the moniker and specifications, it seems from the numbering that XT2505-1 is likely to be the Moto Edge 2025, and XT2507-1 may well be the Moto Edge 60. More information regarding these phones is awaited.

What’s Next for the XT2553-1?

After appearing on EEC, the device has also surfaced on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification, hinting at an imminent India launch. With these certifications in place, we can expect more details to emerge soon through TENAA, FCC, or leaks.

For now, Motorola fans will have to wait for further confirmation regarding the device’s official name and specifications.
