A new Xiaomi tablet, which appears to be a high-end offering, has emerged in the database of China’s 3C certification platform. To recall, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro in October 2024 in China. These devices came equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively.

There have been reports that the brand could be working on a more powerful tablet than the Pad 7 Pro. While Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed anything about this device, the rumour mill is speculating that it could be called the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. An upcoming Xiaomi tablet with the 25032RP42C model number has been approved by China’s 3C certification platform. The listing only suggests that it may ship with an MDY-17-EB charger that supports up to 120W fast charging.

Since 5G or cellular connectivity is not mentioned in the listing, it appears that there could only be a Wi-Fi version of the device. With 3C certification under its belt, the tablet may go official in the first quarter of this year. As mentioned above, the Xiaomi 25032RP42C tablet could be positioned above the Pad 7 Pro.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro specifications

The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is a China-exclusive tablet that houses an 11.2-inch IPS LCD panel offering a 3.2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet runs on HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15 and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered tablet ships with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is backed by an 8,850mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

The Pad 7 Pro has a 32-megapixel camera on the front. Its rear panel is fitted with a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. The tablet comes with other features such as quad speakers, an IR blaster, and a USB-C (Gen 3.2) port.
