Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India. This indicates that India will be one of the markets that will be receiving the device.

The Galaxy S25 Edge was first showcased at January’s Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung unveiled the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra smartphones. While it will be part of the S25 lineup, it will stand out with its ultra-thin design, likely targeting users who prefer a premium flagship with a slim profile. Reports suggest that the device will be unveiled in the second quarter of this year.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specifications (rumoured)

According to reports, the Galaxy S25 Edge will measure 5.84mm in thickness and weigh around 162 grams. It may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to run on One UI 7-based Android 15 and come with up to 7 years of OS upgrade support. For durability, it may feature an Armor Aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection

The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy-powered S25 Edge is expected to ship with 12GB of RAM, 256GB / 512GB of storage, and a 3,900 mAh battery with 25W charging and wireless charging support. On the front, it may feature a 12-megapixel camera for selfies and its rear camera setup may include an OIS-assisted 200-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
