A Vivo phone with model number V2504 has received approval from India’s BIS authority. Previously, the said device was seen with a flagship-grade Dimensity 9-series chipset on Geekbench. Hence, it appears to be the Vivo V50 Pro, making way for its Indian release.
At the same time, an iQOO smartphone with model number I2405 has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority. While its final marketing name is not known, it appears to be the iQOO Z10s Pro. This assumption is based on the fact that the iQOO Z9s Pro, launched last year, had the I2305 model number. Read on to know what to expect from the V50 Pro and Z10s Pro.
Alleged Vivo V50 Pro BIS certified

- The above screenshot shows that the Vivo V50 Pro, bearing the model number V2504, has bagged BIS certification. Unfortunately, the listing has not revealed anything else about the device.
- Last month, we spotted the V2504 device with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. It also revealed that the device is equipped with 8GB of RAM and Android 15.
- Just as last year’s Vivo V40 Pro was based on the China-exclusive Vivo S19 Pro, it is likely that the V50 Pro could be a tweaked version of the S20 Pro, which was announced in China back in December 2024.
- Therefore, the V50 Pro may come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED 1.5K 120Hz display, a 50-megapixel selfie camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (3x periscope telephoto) triple camera setup. It may come equipped with the D9300+ chip, up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 90W rapid charging support.
Purported iQOO Z10s Pro Bluetooth SIG certified

- The above screengrab reveals that the iQOO I2405 phone has emerged in Bluetooth SIG’s database. However, it does not reveal anything significant about the device.
- The said device was spotted at Europe’s EEC certification last month. While it appears to be the iQOO Z10s Pro, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know the exact marketing name.
Devices that appear in Bluetooth’s database are known to debut within a span of around a month. So, it is likely that the iQOO I2405 may break cover within the first half of this year. As far as the Vivo V50 Pro is concerned, the device may not launch this month as the brand is currently busy teasing the arrival of the V50e, which is set to launch on April 10. There’s a possibility that it may debut in May in India.
