Highlights

  • A Vivo phone with model number V2463A has received 3C certification in China.
  • It has also appeared in the databases of CMIIT and Geekbench.
  • The phone is said to be iQOO Neo 10S for the Chinese market.

An upcoming Vivo phone bearing the model number V2463A has appeared in the databases of China’s 3C and CMIIT certification platforms. According to reliable tipsters such as Digital Chat Station, this device will be marketed as the iQOO Neo 10S when it launches in the Chinese market.

We at XpertPick have also spotted the device on Geekbench, which confirms that it will ship with the latest Snapdragon 8 series chip onboard. While it is positioned as a flagship-grade offering, it will sit below the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered iQOO 13, which debuted in October last year. Here’s a look at all that is known about the iQOO Neo 10S.

iQOO Neo 10S 3C, CMIIT, and Geekbench listings

  • The alleged iQOO Neo 10S has been spotted with a 120W fast charger in its 3C certification in China. The CMIIT database also lists the same model number, suggesting the device has cleared regulatory hurdles for launch.
  • On Geekbench, the device is listed with a Qualcomm chipset clocked at 4.32GHz and an Adreno 830 GPU (confirmed via source code).
  • These specs strongly suggest that it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The listing also reveals the device will include 12GB of RAM and run Android 15 out of the box.
  • In benchmark tests, the iQOO Neo 10S scored 3005 points in the single-core test and 9352 points in the multi-core test.

iQOO Neo 10S specifications (rumoured)

  • According to DCS, the iQOO Neo 10S will sport a flat OLED panel with 2K resolution and feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
  • Under the hood, it will house the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a dedicated display chip to enhance gaming performance.
  • The device is expected to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
  • For optics, the phone will feature a dual-camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

Last year, iQOO launched the Neo 9S Pro and Neo 9S Pro+, featuring the Dimensity 9300 Plus and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The V2463A appears to be the successor to the Neo 9S Pro+, so it could logically be called the iQOO Neo 10S Pro+. However, Chinese tech bloggers are referring to it as the Neo 10S.

That said, it’s best to wait for official confirmation regarding the final moniker. It also remains unclear whether this device will be accompanied by another model powered by the Dimensity 9400 Plus chip. The new Neo 10 series is expected to debut in China in May.
