iQOO Z10 Turbo variants receive MIIT certification in China, launch imminent

iQOO Z10 Turbo has received CMIIT certification in China. This indicates that the brand could be planning to the Z10 series soon in the home market. Reports have revealed that the lineup will have four models, namely, the iQOO Z10x, Z10, Z10 Turbo, and Z10 Turbo Pro.

The Z10 Turbo and Z10 Turbo are expected to feature the Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. Therefore, the Z10 Turbo is expected to compete with the Redmi Turbo 4 and Realme Neo 7 SE, which are powered by the D8400 chip. On the other hand, the Z10 Turbo is expected to rival the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is expected to debut in early Q1 in China.

Last month, an upcoming Vivo phone with model number V2452A was spotted with the Dimensity 8400 chip in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking platform. Soon after its appearance, Chinese tech bloggers claimed that it could be the iQOO Z10 Turbo.

The same device has now appeared in the CMIIT database, suggesting that its launch is approaching. Notably, a variant with the model number V2452GA has also been spotted in the listing. While the CMIIT certification does not reveal any significant details, it remains unclear what differentiates the two models.

iQOO Z10 Turbo series specifications (rumoured)

As per reports, the iQOO Z10 Turbo is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPS panel with support for a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to pack a 7,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. For photography, it may feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. The Turbo Pro model may pack the same specs but offer a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Elite chip.
