Motorola is working on a slew of new phones for different markets. These include the Edge 60 series, which is expected to feature devices like the Edge 60, Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 60 Pro, and Edge 60 Ultra; the Razr 60 series, which includes the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra; and the Motorola G Stylus 2025. Now, a new device dubbed the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus has emerged in the Bluetooth SIG’s database.

This device has been spotted along with the G Stylus 2025 variants at the Bluetooth certification. Additionally, the stylus-totting G-series phone has also been found listed in the database of the Wireless Power Consortium, revealing support for wireless charging. Moto G Stylus 2025 Bluetooth SIG, GCF, and TUV certified

  • As seen in the Bluetooth SIG’s screenshot, the Moto G Stylus 2025 has been spotted with model numbers XT2517-1, XT2517-2, XT2517-3, and XT2517V.
  • The above-mentioned models have also been approved by the TUV Rheinland certification platform.
  • The XT2517-1, XT2517-1 (eDS – possibly a dual SIM version), and XT2517V have also been certified by the GCF certification platform.
  • The G Stylus 2025 has also emerged in the Wireless Power Consortium, revealing support for 15W wireless charging.
  • The “Houston” codename is also mentioned in the WPC listing at the upper-left corner.
  • The WPC listing also provides a clear look at the device’s design, which includes a punch-hole screen on the front, a square-shaped camera module on the back, and volume and power buttons on the right. The bottom edge features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, a speaker grille, and a storage compartment for the stylus.
  • The FCC certification of the Moto G Stylus 2025, which was spotted by 91mobiles in January 2025, revealed that the device measures 146.2 x 71.8 x 7.5mm and offers connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 6E, 5G NR bands, LTE, GSM, and WCDMA connectivity.
  • The G Stylus 2025 is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery and support a stylus, as its moniker suggests.

Motorola Edge 60 Stylus could be a rebranded version of the G Stylus 2025

  • The Bluetooth SIG has also approved the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus with the model number XT2517-4. It has also been certified by TUV Rheinland.
  • Interestingly, the XT2517-4 was certified by India’s BIS authority in December 2024.
  • The Edge 60 Stylus, heading to India, appears to be a rebranded version of the G Stylus 2025, as both share the same XT2517 model number.
  • This will be the first time that Motorola launches a mid-range phone with stylus support in India.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion GCF certified

  • Previously, the upcoming Motorola Edge 60 Fusion was spotted with the model number XT2503-4 in the TUV certification database.
  • Now, the Edge 60 Fusion’s variants with model numbers XT2503-1, XT2503-1 [eDS], XT2503-4, and XT2503-4 [eDS] have also received GCF certification.
  • As per reports, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved display, a Dimensity 7400 chipset, and a 5,500mAh battery.
  • For photography, it may sport a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 + 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the back.
  • It will have a durable build with IP69 and MIL-STD-810H ratings.

Motorola has already started teasing the arrival of the Edge 60 Fusion in India. According to reports, the device is will go official on April 9 in India. However, there is no information about the launch timeframe of the G Stylus 2025 / Edge 60 Stylus. With multiple certifications under the belt, it appears that the stylus-toting phone will debut soon in different markets.
