Moto G56 5G has seemingly received approval from the FCC and TUV Rheinland certification platforms. Last week, the device was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. These sightings suggest that the Lenovo-owned brand may launch it within the first half of this year.

The moniker of the device suggests that it will arrive as the successor to last year’s Moto G55, which came equipped with specs like a 6.49-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 120Hz screen, a Dimensity 7025-Ultra chip, a 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system.   • ​A new Motorola phone with the model number XT2529-1 has appeared in the FCC certification database.
  • The IMEI number found in the FCC documents, when checked in the IMEI database, reveals the codename “Bogota.”
  • This codename was found to be associated with the Moto G56 5G, as per its recently spotted Geekbench listing. Therefore, it is likely that the XT2529-1 device will debut in the market as the Moto G56 5G.
  • The FCC documents further reveal that the device supports 5G bands, such as n2, n5, n7, n26, n38, n41, n66, n77, and n78. It also supports other connectivity features, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
  • The FCC listing reveals several power adapter versions, such as MC-331L, MC-332L, MC-333L, and so on. It also mentions that the device is equipped with the RB52 battery.
  • When cross-checked with TUV Rheinland, the charger and battery models revealed that the charger supports 33W charging, whereas the battery size was found to be 5,100mAh.
