
Motorola is expected to unveil the Moto G56 5G, a mid-range smartphone, in different markets soon. Last month, the device appeared in Geekbench’s database with a Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset. Later, the same device appeared in the databases of certification platforms such as the FCC, TUV, and Japan Audio Society (JAS) Hi-Res Audio certification database.
The JAS listing revealed that as many as four model numbers—XT2529-1, XT2529-2, XT2529-3, and XT2529-4—are associated with the G56. One of these has appeared in the dataset of the UAE’s TDRA certification platform, indicating that the handset may debut soon.

- It is likely to pack a 5,100mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
- The rumour mill is yet to reveal details about the Moto G56 5G’s screen, cameras, or design. Hopefully, upcoming reports will reveal these details in the coming days.
The Moto G56 5G will succeed the Moto G55 from last year. To recall, the G55’s global version came with a 6.49-inch LCD FHD+ 120Hz screen, a Dimensity 7025 chip, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging. For photography, it featured a 16-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system.
