Highlights

  • Motorola phones XT2505-4 and XT2507-5 have received TENAA certification in China.
  • The XT2505-4 is the upcoming Motorola Edge 60.
  • The XT2507-5 appears to be the Edge 60 Pro.

Two upcoming Motorola phones with model numbers XT2505-4 and XT2507-5 have received approval from the TENAA certification platform in China. These listings have revealed the images and key specifications of both smartphones. Additionally, the XT2505-4 variant has also been certified by China’s 3C authority.

A previously seen TDRA certification confirmed that the XT2505 will be called the Motorola Edge 60 when it launches. Meanwhile, the XT2507-5 phone has appeared on FCC and EEC certification platforms, but none of these listings have revealed its final marketing name. The images from the TENAA certification match the Edge 60 Pro’s renders, which we shared through our exclusive report earlier this week. Therefore, it appears to be the Pro edition. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through the Chinese certification of both smartphones.

Motorola Edge 60 TENAA, 3C certified

  • The TENAA certification has revealed that the Motorola Edge 60 (XT2505-4) will feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel with curved edges. It supports a 1.5K resolution and includes an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
  • Under the hood, the Edge 60 is powered by an unknown 2.5GHz octa-core chip.
  • The listing shows that it will be available with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB / 16GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB of storage. However, all these variants may not launch at the same time.
  • The Edge 60 appears to pack a 5,500mAh battery, although the TENAA listing mentions only the rated value, which is 5,335mAh. Its 3C certification reveals that the device may support 68W fast charging.
  • For photography, it features a 50-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 10-megapixel + 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back. The device seems to include a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
  • Lastly, the device measures 161.2 x 73.08 x 7.95mm and weighs 180.4 grams.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro TENAA certified

  • As per the TENAA listing, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro (XT2507-5) will be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a curved-edge design. The screen will come integrated with a fingerprint sensor and support 1.5K resolution.
  • The Edge 60 Pro is powered by a 3.35GHz chip. A previously seen Geekbench listing revealed that this chip could be the Dimensity 8350.
  • It may arrive with 8GB / 12GB / 16GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB of storage.
  • The battery size of the device appears to be 5,820mAh, although the listing only mentions its rated value as 6,000mAh. The device has not received 3C certification yet, but its FCC certification for the global version revealed support for 90W rapid charging.
  • On the front, the Edge 60 Pro has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
  • The device is equipped with a triple camera setup on the back, but TENAA mentions details for only two sensors—a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel snapper, which could be an ultra-wide lens. The TENAA listing also reveals support for 3x optical zoom, indicating it could be equipped with a telephoto or periscope telephoto camera.
  • Interestingly, it features an unknown hardware button on the left edge.
  • The phone measures 171.3 x 73.99 x 7.25mm and weighs 188 grams.

Readers should note that the XT2507-5 model’s final marketing name is still under wraps. While it is expected to launch as the Edge 60 Pro, there is a possibility it may carry a different name but still be part of the Edge 60 series.
