Motorola Razr 60, Razr 60 Ultra appear on TENAA; Moto G56 5G variant with Dimensity 7025 spotted on Geekbench

Highlights

  • Motorola Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra have emerged in China’s TENAA certification platform’s database.
  • The certifications have revealed the images of the phone.
  • Additionally, the forthcoming Moto G56 5G has emerged in Geekbench

Motorola Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra will be launching soon in multiple markets. Previously, Razr-branded foldables have debuted in China before expanding to other countries. It appears that the company may follow the same strategy this time as well, as both models have received approval from China’s TENAA authority.

Earlier this month, both devices were certified by China’s 3C authority, revealing their charging capabilities. While TENAA certification typically discloses both specifications and images of a phone, it has currently only revealed images of the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra. Meanwhile, the upcoming Moto G56 5G has surfaced in Geekbench’s database, indicating that it may also launch soon.

Motorola Razr 60, Razr 60 Ultra images

  • The Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra have been spotted in TENAA’s database with their respective model numbers, XT2553-3 and XT2551-3.
  • The images suggest that there are no major design changes for either smartphone, but they appear to be refined versions of their predecessors.
  • The Razr 60’s TENAA images showcase its Spring Bud colour, which was originally revealed in our exclusive report earlier this week.
  • Apart from Spring Bud, the Razr 60 will also be available in Lightest Sky and Gibraltar Sea shades.
  • Leaks suggest that the Ultra variant will be available in red, dark green, and a wood shade. The Razr 60 will feature the latest Dimensity 7400X chipset and a larger 4,500mAh battery. According to the MIIT listing, the device has a 4,275mAh dual-cell rated battery (1,090mAh + 3,185mAh).
  • The Razr 60 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,540mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. Its other specifications remain unknown.

Moto G56 5G Geekbench listing

  • The Moto G56 handset has been spotted for the first time through its appearance on Geekbench.
  • The listing reveals that it is powered by a chipset identified as “bogota” in the motherboard field. It comprises two performance cores running at 2.60GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.00GHz. The source code of the listing suggests that it is equipped with the PowerVR B-Series BXM-8-256 GPU.
  • These specifications indicate that the chipset could be a variant of the MediaTek Dimensity 7025. The reasoning behind this is that the standard Dimensity 7025 operates at 2.5GHz, whereas the chip powering the Moto G56 5G runs at 2.6GHz.
  • The Geekbench listing further reveals that the G56 is equipped with 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 15.
  • The rest of its specifications remain unknown.

To sum up, the TENAA-certified Razr 60 series may debut as early as April in China. Meanwhile, Motorola could be planning to launch the G56 in different markets around the same time.
