Last month, the Motorola Razr 60, with model number XT2553-2, was approved by China’s 3C authority. Now, a new Motorola phone, likely the Razr 60 Ultra, has also received 3C certification. These approvals suggest that the Razr 60 series will soon debut in the Chinese market.
The Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra were certified by the 3C authority in May 2024, followed by their official launch in June in China. Since both Razr 60 models have received 3C approval much earlier than their predecessors, it seems that the Razr 60 series could launch as early as April in China.
Motorola Razr 60 Ultra 3C certified

- In February, a UAE TDRA listing revealed that the upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra has the XT2251-6 model number. Here, the number “6” denotes the regional variant for the UAE market.
- Now, the Razr 60 Ultra’s Chinese variant, with the XT2551-3 model number, has been approved by the 3C regulatory body.
- The listing reveals that the Razr 60 Ultra may ship with an MC-688N charger, which supports up to 68W fast charging.
- This aligns with the previously seen TUV and FCC certifications, which revealed that the Razr 60 Ultra will support 68W rapid charging.
- To recall, the Razr 50 Ultra was also spotted with a 68W charger in its 3C certification last year. However, it only supported 45W wired charging. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Motorola upgrades the Razr 60 Ultra’s fast charging to 68W or retains 45W charging like its predecessor.
Motorola Razr 60 Ultra specifications (rumoured)
As per reports, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM, a 4,540mAh battery, and Android 15. Leaked renders suggest that it will be available in a Dark Green colour option and will have a design similar to its predecessor. The device is expected to be rebranded as the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 in the US.
