A new OPPO tablet has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website ahead of its official launch. The tablet carries the model number OPD2417. According to the listing, it will support 33W wired charging and 15W reverse wireless charging.
Other than the charging details, the certification does not reveal any other specifications. However, the presence of reverse wireless charging suggests that the tablet could be positioned in the mid-range segment.
OPPO’s Current Tablet Line-up
OPPO recently launched its flagship tablet called the OPPO Pad 4 Pro, which comes with the model number OPD2409. It features a large 13.2-inch IPS LCD screen. The display supports 68 billion colours, Dolby Vision, 144Hz refresh rate, and goes up to 900 nits brightness. It also comes with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
In addition, another OPPO tablet with the model number OPD2420 was spotted on the Geekbench database and IMDA certification. This tablet is expected to be the SE version, likely aimed at the budget segment.
Likely to Sit Between Flagship and SE Version
Based on what we know so far, the OPD2417 model could sit between the flagship Pad 4 Pro and the upcoming SE variant. The reverse wireless charging support makes it stand out, but until more details surface, it’s difficult to confirm the exact positioning.
We will share more updates as soon as new information becomes available.
