Oppo has unveiled the F29 and F29 Pro smartphones in India. One of the major highlights of the F29 series is that both models come with military-grade durability with MIL-STD-810H certification, making them ready for extreme conditions and capable of surviving fall impacts. The durability is further enhanced with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and an IP66/68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The F29 series is also equipped with Oppo’s Hunter Antenna Architecture, which promises a 300 percent signal boost in remote areas, underpasses, and even basement parking. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and prices of both models.
Oppo F29 5G, Oppo F29 Pro 5G specifications and features
The Oppo F29 5G and F29 Pro 5G feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard F29 model comes with a flat screen protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, whereas the Pro edition boasts a quad-curved display layered with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Both devices are equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15. Oppo has promised two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates for both models.
Under the hood, the Oppo F29 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It houses a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The Pro edition, on the other hand, is equipped with the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, offering up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of native storage.
In the camera department, the F29 5G features a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome depth sensor. The F29 Pro 5G, meanwhile, is equipped with a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D40 primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel monochrome depth sensor. Both models sport a 16-megapixel Sony IMX480 front camera for selfies.

The Oppo F29 5G has been launched in India in two configurations: 8GB+128GB, priced at Rs 23,999, and 8GB+256GB, priced at Rs 25,999. It is available in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue colour options.
The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is available in three variants: 8GB+128GB for Rs 27,999, 8GB+256GB for Rs 29,999, and 12GB+256GB for Rs 31,999. The Pro model comes in Marble White and Granite Black shades.
The F29 series is available for purchase through Oppo India’s online store, offline outlets, and Flipkart. Pre-booking is now live, with sales of the F29 5G set to start on March 27 and the F29 Pro 5G on April 1. Customers can avail of up to 10 percent cashback using SBI, HDFC, Axis, Bank of Baroda, and IDFC credit cards. Additional offers include up to six months of no-cost EMI, up to eight months of zero down payment, and up to a 10 percent exchange bonus.
