The Redmi Note 14S has been confirmed as an upcoming Xiaomi phone, following its TDRA certification in the UAE. The Redmi Note 14 series for the global market already includes multiple models, such as the Redmi Note 14 5G, Note 14 Pro 5G, Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Note 14 4G, and Note 14 Pro 4G. However, the latest certification suggests that Xiaomi is expanding the lineup with another addition.
The Redmi Note 14S was first spotted in the EEC certification database in November 2024. Last month, the device received FCC certification, hinting that it might be a rebranded version of an existing Redmi phone. However, the UAE certification has now confirmed that last year’s Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G will be rebranded as the Note 14S.
Redmi Note 14S TDRA certified
A screenshot of the TDRA certification confirms that the Xiaomi phone with model number 2502FRA65G will launch as the Redmi Note 14S in the UAE. Additionally, the FCC certification reveals that the FCC ID for the Note 14S is 2AFZZFRA65G, which is merely a variation of an already approved device with FCC ID 2AFZZRA68G.
For reference, the FCC ID 2AFZRA68G belongs to the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. Since the new FCC ID 2AFZZFRA65G is assigned to the same model, it strongly suggests that the Note 14S will launch as a rebranded Note 13 Pro 4G, retaining the same specifications.
