A new Samsung smartphone, model SM-A266U, has received FCC certification with the FCC ID A3LSMA266U, indicating an imminent global launch. The Bluetooth SIG listing recently confirmed that this handset will debut as the Galaxy A26 5G. It will support 5G bands n2, n5, n25, n30, n66, n71, n41, n48, n77, and n78.
The FCC database confirms that the device will support GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G, GNSS, NFC, and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n/a/ac). It will also feature an SD card slot and support Bluetooth 5.3. A schematic render reveals the three vertically stacked camera rings within a slightly raised camera module.
The FCC listing also lists the other smartphone variants with the SM-A266U1 and SM-S266V model numbers. The Galaxy A26 5G was tested with the EP-T2510 adaptor, which has a 25W output. This confirms that the handset will support 25W wired fast charging.

The Indian variant, identified by the model number SM-A266B/DS, also cleared BIS certification. An online case listing reveals that the device will feature a 6.64 or 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Geekbench database suggests the presence of an overclocked variant of the Exynos 1280 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is expected to include a 4,565mAh rated battery, measure 7.7mm in thickness, and weigh 209 grams.
