  • The Galaxy M36’s Geekbench listing reveals that it will feature the Exynos 1380

  • While the chipset’s name is explicitly mentioned, the s5e8835 identifier mentioned in the motherboard field is a good indicator that it features the said Exynos chipset.
  • The device is equipped with 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 15.
  • In the single-core and multi-core tests, the M36 has scored 1,004 and 2,886 points, respectively.
  • At present, no other details are known about this device.

To recall, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy M35 launched last year with nearly identical specifications. The A35 featured a 5,000mAh battery and an under-display fingerprint scanner, while the M35 offered a larger 6,000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Following this pattern, the Galaxy M36 would ideally be based on the Galaxy A36. However, it seems Samsung is taking a different approach this time. While the Galaxy A36 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a recent Geekbench listing suggests that the M36 will be equipped with the Exynos 1380 chip instead.

To recall, the Galaxy A36 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz screen, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and One UI 7-based Android 15. The device is equipped with a 12-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 5-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
