Samsung Galaxy M56 5G has received Bluetooth SIG certification. The listing has confirmed its model number and final marketing name. The device will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy M55, which debuted in March 2024. Likely, the M56 may also hit the market around the same time.

The Galaxy M56 will be the third M-series phone to hit the market after the Galaxy M06 and M16, which are scheduled to launch later today in India. The M55 was introduced with a starting price of Rs 26,999. Therefore, the M56 5G is expected to arrive with a similar starting price.

The screenshot confirms that the Samsung Galaxy M56 5G, carrying the model number SM-M566B_DS, has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority. However, neither the Bluetooth SIG listing nor leaks have revealed any details about the smartphone.

Given that Bluetooth-certified devices typically launch within a month of approval, it seems likely that the Galaxy M56 5G could debut by the end of March, similar to its predecessor. Here’s a look at what the predecessor model offered.

Samsung Galaxy M55 specifications

The Galaxy M55 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it includes an in-screen fingerprint sensor and runs on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M55 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

For photography, the device sports a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Its rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
