Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro moniker gets confirmed via TDRA certification

Highlights

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro has received TDRA certification in the UAE.
  • As the moniker suggests, it will be a ruggedized tablet from the brand.
  • The device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab Active 5, equipped with the Exynos 1380, in January 2024. There have been reports that the brand has been working on a new rugged tablet. Since it is expected to launch this year, it was being speculated that the device would be called the Galaxy Tab Active 6 or Active 6 Pro as the successor to last year’s model.

The TDRA certification reveals that the upcoming rugged tablet from the South Korean tech giant will be called the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro. Its arrival seems imminent as its support pages have gone live in the UK, Switzerland, and Russia. These developments suggest that the tablet may debut either this month or in May.
