Earlier this week, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved the US and global versions of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G tablet. Now, the FCC has approved the Tab S10 FE’s Wi-Fi-only version. These certifications indicate that it will not take too long for the Tab S10 FE lineup to go official in different markets.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE series will succeed the Galaxy Tab S9 FE lineup, which was announced in October 2023. As per reports, the new series will include the Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G and Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus 5G. Both devices are expected to arrive in Wi-Fi-only and 5G versions. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through the FCC certification of the standard S10 FE.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE’s Wi-Fi-only variant FCC certification

  • The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE’s Wi-Fi-only variant, which bears the SM-X520 model number, has been spotted with FCC ID: A3LSMX520 in the FCC’s database.
  • The Status Information page available in the About tablet section in the Settings app reveals that the tablet will support 45W fast charging.
  • The FCC certification further reveals that the Wi-Fi variant will support the S-Pen (EJ-PX510 model number), Wi-Fi 802.11ax, and pack a battery with the EB-BX526ABY model number.
  • As can be seen in the UL Solutions certification, the battery has a rated capacity of 7,760mAh and a typical value of 8,000mAh.
  • The S-Pen model number suggests that the Tab S10 FE will support the same stylus that came equipped with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE.
  • The FCC listing reveals that the Tab S10 FE will support EF-DX720 and EF-DX725 covers, which are nothing but the Galaxy Book Cover Keyboard models designed for the Tab S9 FE series.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE will feature a 10.9-inch LCD panel and an 8,000mAh battery, whereas the Tab S10 FE+ will have a bigger 13.1-inch LCD screen and a 10,090mAh battery. Both devices will feature common specs, such as the Exynos 1580 chip, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and 45W fast charging.

The Tab S10 FE series may ship with One UI 7-based Android 15. Both tablets may feature a 12-megapixel front camera and an LED-assisted 13-megapixel rear snapper. Additional features include NFC support, a fingerprint sensor, and an IP68-rated chassis.
