Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (Fan Edition) has seemingly received 3C certification in China. This comes in quick succession of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, which were approved by the same certification platform yesterday. Now that the FE model has also bagged an important certification in China, it appears all three devices may debut in July, the usual month when Samsung launches its next-generation foldables.

This will be the first time that Samsung will launch an “FE” version of its foldable. Speculations are rife that the device will release in multiple markets, such as India and the UAE, apart from China. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through 3C certification of the Z Flip 7 FE.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE specifications (rumoured)

Reports suggest that Samsung will not use an Exynos chipset for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Instead, it is expected to feature a mid-range Snapdragon SoC. The device is likely to retain the same display as last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 6, meaning it may sport a 6.7-inch foldable display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will run One UI 7 based on Android 15, but due to NPU limitations, it may lack some of the Galaxy AI features available on the Fold 7 and Flip 7. In terms of cameras, the device is expected to feature a 12-megapixel front camera for selfies and a 50-megapixel rear camera for improved photography.

The Flip 7 FE is expected to come with other features, such as dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6E support, and ProVisual Engine for an enhanced multimedia experience. In terms of durability, it will likely feature Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) and a hinge design similar to the Flip 6, along with an aluminium armour frame and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone is also expected to have flat edges and some level of water resistance.
