In February, Tecno released the first teaser for its upcoming Pova series. While the brand did not confirm the exact name, EEC certification listings featuring the Pova 7 branding, spotted last month, suggest that the company is preparing to launch the Pova 7 series.
Last month, the Tecno Pova 7 4G, Pova 7 5G, Pova 7 Pro 5G, and Pova 7 Pro+ 5G were spotted at the EEC certification with respective model numbers, such as LJ6, LJ7, LJ8, and LJ9. Reports have also revealed that the lineup includes another device called the Pova 7 Curve 5G with the LJ8K model number. Now, two more Pova 7-branded devices have emerged in the EEC’s database, indicating that the lineup will have as many as six models.
Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G, Pova 7 Neo EEC certified
- The first screenshot shown above reveals that the Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G has received approval from the EEC authority.
- Interestingly, it carries the LJ9 model number, which was previously associated with the Pova 7 Pro+ 5G, according to its EEC listing from last month.
- Similarly, the Tecno Pova 7 Neo, which has now appeared in the EEC’s database, has the LJ6 model number, previously linked to the Pova 7 4G.
- There is a possibility that the company may have decided to rename the Pova 7 Pro+ 5G as the Pova 7 Ultra 5G and the Pova 7 4G as the Pova 7 Neo.
