Vivo V50 Lite 5G has received NBTC certification in Thailand. This is not the first time the device has been spotted. Previously, it appeared in the databases of Geekbench and multiple certification platforms, indicating that it may not take too long to go official.
Like the recently unveiled Vivo V50, its upcoming Lite edition is expected to offer an impressive photography experience at an affordable price. The V50 Lite will succeed last year’s V40 Lite, which came equipped with key specifications such as a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz screen, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup, and a 5,500mAh battery.
Vivo V50 Lite 5G NBTC certified
Thailand’s NBTC certification has confirmed that the upcoming Vivo phone with the model number V2440 will launch as the Vivo V50 Lite 5G. This aligns with previously spotted certifications, such as Bluetooth SIG and GCF, which also revealed both the moniker and model number. While Singapore’s IMDA and IMEI listings suggested that the V2440 device will be called the Jovi V50 Lite 5G, it appears that the final moniker of the device is Vivo V50 Lite 5G.
The Vivo V50 Lite 5G has additionally appeared in Indonesia’s SDPPI and SGS certifications. While none of these listings have disclosed its specifications, its Geekbench listing has revealed details about its chipset, RAM, and Android version.
As per the Geekbench listing, the Vivo V50 Lite 5G will feature the Dimensity 6300 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 15. It achieved a score of 753 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 1,934 points in the multi-core test.
Vivo is also said to be working on a 4G version of the phone dubbed the Vivo V40 Lite. Recently, the device was spotted in the FCC’s database with some of its key specifications. The listing revealed that it may arrive with a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of built-in storage. It will measure 163.96 x 75.3 x 8.49mm and weigh 193 grams.
