Xiaomi has introduced its latest Xiaomi 15 Series, blending Leica-inspired design, pro-grade cameras, and AI-powered performance. The lineup includes the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15, featuring Leica Summilux lenses, Xiaomi HyperOS 2, and Snapdragon 8 Elite for peak mobile performance.

“The Xiaomi 15 Series is crafted for imaging excellence, with a refined design and cutting-edge technology to empower professionals and enthusiasts alike,” the company stated. The India launch and pricing details will be announced on March 11, 2025.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Redefining Mobile Photography

With a Leica 1-inch main sensor and 50MP Sony LYT-900 imaging, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra brings professional-grade photography to smartphones. The quad-camera system offers:

  • 70mm Leica floating telephoto lens for portraits and macro shots
  • 100mm ultra-telephoto camera with in-sensor zoom up to 200mm
  • 14mm Leica ultra-wide camera for expansive shots

For videography, it supports 4K 120fps cinematic recording, Dolby Vision 4K 60fps, and 10-bit Log recording across all focal lengths. The Ultra Image Stabilization (UIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) ensure smooth, professional-quality footage.

Both devices run on Snapdragon 8 Elite, ensuring top-tier performance. The Xiaomi IceLoop cooling system optimizes thermal management. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra packs a 5410mAh battery with 90W HyperCharge and 80W wireless charging, while the Xiaomi 15 features a 5240mAh battery with 50W wireless charging.
